How to: Print from home

All Lily Longnose Dog Sewing Patterns come in two formats - one for printing at home, and one for sending to the print shop. The print at home option is suitable for the following paper sizes: A4, US letter and US legal.

You need to look for the file which ends in “A4USL” or is labelled “Print at Home”

Locate the page with the 2cm test square. For most patterns it will be on the first page. Start by printing this page only. Use a ruler to check the scale - the 2cm test square should be exactly 2cm.

If this is correct, go ahead and print pages 2-10. If it's not lining up correctly, check the printer settings and try again.

Always check:

• Paper size selected is the same as the paper in your printer (A4, US letter or US legal)
• Scale is set to 100%
• Orientation is portrait
• If there’s an option for positioning, ensure it’s set to print in the centre of the paper (not positioned top left or in any of the corners)
